Whose Idea Was This Anyway?!

Today was cleaning day. You know when you decide that you want to host Christmas at your house. At the time it sounds like a great idea because you don't have to drive anywhere?  A day before the event you realize there is first floor cleaning to do....there's set up to do....there's food to buy.....there's preparation of food and beverages....running around to make sure you have what you need.  Whose idea was this anyway? LOL

Tomorrow is Craig Christmas. Tim's side of the family will be here. We celebrate Christmas then they will play cards. I don't like to play cards, so I sit and talk to Tim's dad.

I found a cute cat picture to share.  We are introducing our kitten slowly to Phoebe.  The kitten has only been downstairs with someone holding her.  Little by little Phoebe is getting used to the kitten.  Phoebe isn't scared and hissing all the time she sees the kitten.  So right now we don't have worries about the tree and the kitten.  Thank goodness.

I am so thankful that I don't wake up hurting each morning like in the past.  The turmeric I'm taking has helped my neck pain go away.  My hips are good as well.  Thank you Lord for helping alleviate my pain.  I'm praying for those in constant pain, Lord.  What a miserable life that is.  Please help them with their pain.

I saw this on FB and thought it was so pretty.  This is part of the river walk in San Antonio. Tim and I went and walked around to check out the restaurants and shops. They have a wonderful boat tour there also.  It was very interesting to learn the history of that area.

Verse of the Day:

Tim was told Tuesday, the 20th would be his last day.  He is so relieved. He can't wait to get out of there because of the way they have treated him since they took over in October.  His stress level has been so high I prayed he wouldn't have a heart attack or heart issue from high blood pressure.  He is wiped out from all of the stress and strain from all of this.  Like his brain is mush from so much use.

I feel so happy that he will soon be able to relax, enjoy the holiday and begin to find who he was before this nightmare began.  

We are trusting in God to help Tim find another job. We've never had Tim out of a job without finding another one first.  So, life goes on, we save money, and pray that God will lead us to where he wants us to be. That's what Faith is all about, isn't it?

Blessing of the Day: I got time with the kitty.  We took a nap together. Nothing like purring in your ear and heat on your heart from a loving, cuddly kitty.
