Summer Countdown '07
With the nice warm weather, and the month of May at hand, it brings to mind summer vacation. With that in mind, and with new stamps in hand, I produced my '07 coundown! Crab and Company from SU provided just the right touch to this countdown card. Creatures were made using the faux clay technique. This is a fun technique. You heat the piece of foam on both sides then press your stamp into it. Then I cut out my image before I stamp again. If you don't like the image you got, heat again and stamp again. The image disappears when heated again. Make sure you use something to hold the foam so you don't burn yourself. The sand behind the creatures is sandpaper torn and rolled forward a little to give dimension. Clouds were made with a retired SU template. I used an s clip to hold the ovals with the countdown numbers. Hope you like today's entry!
