Sore but praying for strength

Today my kid's school had a garage sale. This is a HUGE money maker for them. I volunteered to help out for 4 hours. I love to do it but now my bursitis has flared up and it is very painful to walk. I am icing it and have taken an anti-inflammatory. My DS has a baseball game at 8 tonight. I hope to be able to walk to the field and find a seat. I love talking to all of the older people who were there that needed help carrying items to their cars. I think they just needed someone to talk to. They have such stories to tell. It's sad sometimes that we don't have time for their stories. We need to make time for them and their stories. Let them know they are not alone. I will search my heart to find what I can do to help someone who is feeling alone. Maybe you will do this too. Sending a card to someone on the Need a Lift forum or Random Act of Kindness forum on Splitcoast Stampers is a great start. Here's one I just recently made.
