Happy 4th of July/Parent's Day In Our House!
You'll never believe the surprise Tim and I had when we woke up this morning. Our two children, Ben 12, and Sarah 10 had decorated the kitchen with balloons and streamers and a sign proclaiming today as Parent's Day! Not only that, they used their OWN money to purchase gifts for us AND cake, two different kinds of ice cream and toppings to go on them. They also got pastry for breakfast! I know God gave me such wonderful kids, and on days like this I am ever grateful to the God we serve for his blessings in the kids he gave to me. We also got coupons for lunch and dinner served anywhere we'd like, plus coupons for help doing anything we need for an hour! The coupons are good today ONLY! Woohoo, I'm going to enjoy parent's day in my house!

That really is sweet - how wonderful to see their generous spirits so young!
(I'm afraid this won't be happening anytime soon at our house - I'm frightened to think about what our kitchen would look like if our 2 and 4 year olds "decorated" it ;)
How sweet and thoughtful of Ben and Sarah! No surprise where these wonderful kids get their kindness and generosity for others my friend! *wink*
Glad that you had a wonderful day... you deserve it!
Hugs,
Anne :)
