How Do You Prepare?

I have continued to make cards for my friend Lynn who has been given less than a year to live due to her cancer. I am saddened to the point where right now all I can do is pray for her and make and send cards to her. I hope she can feel my love that way. I know if I were to see her I'd just break down and cry right now and that sure wouldn't help her fight her fight. So this little crab is hopefully going to bring some joy to her. It was a card for Technique Lovers Challenge on SCS. You had to use something unexpected. My unexpected piece was the lace heart that the crab is clinging to. The little charm on the ribbon says, COURAGE. I figured I could send her prayers, courage and love in one card. I hope it helps in some small way. This is a pocket card and the outside plastic is a shaker card with beads and shells in it. I had hoped this would be a simple challenge but it took forever! The card was originally white and I added bashful, brocade, Caribbean and sky inks to it by dragging the card stock across the ink pad. I hope she likes is. If you are a praying person, please pray for Lynn. She has a list of things she wants to experience in this next year. Please pray that she is up to doing them.
