Sometimes it seems like God has this wonderful checker game going on with me. He moves a piece and I move a piece and he moves something totally unexpected. Then he just sits back chuckling to see what I will do next.........
Today was like that. I got up to run errands which ended up taking all morning. Had lunch, and helped DS bind a wonderful gift for his dad. Not sure it's safe yet to tell his secret, so I'll keep it quiet. Before we bound the gift, we had to go through about 100 pictures DS had taken for this gift for his dad. We had to narrow it to 13 pictures for his gift. Whew, that was hard to do. Little by little we did it, but there went my morning! No worries, to know that my almost 14 year old wanted my opinion was priceless....ya know? That feeling was better than stamping if you can believe that!
My upline came by with her son, stayed for dinner and we finally stamped! Woohoo what fun we had. She had some wonderful trees she made with Lovely as a Tree so we stamped some of her ideas. Then later I got to put them together into cards.
Another project she came up with was to have us each make an expenses journal and bind it together. So that's what the first project is today.
This is the outside of my 2009 SU Expenses Journal. I stamped the trees from Lovely as a Tree in black on white paper. Then I used versa mark and iridescent ice on top of the black ink. I used the Maine Blueberry dp on the covers.

This is the inside of my 2009 SU Expenses journal. The journal is made of large envelopes with dates printed out for each month and glued to the front of the envelope. The back of the envelope has the month on it. This is used to keep track of mileage, receipts, workshops, craft shows, etc. My upline printed out the dates after seeing it somewhere, sorry I don't know who originated it. If it's you let me know so we can give you credit.
We used the bind-it-all to put this all together.

This is my card for today's TLC200 challenge. You did the faux silk technique and added white cardstock behind it.
I used bloomin' beautiful and cut out the vase in white. The flowers are pink, accented with pink, yellow and green markers. The cardstock is pale plum and plum.

What a wonderful evening I had with my upline.....I truly believe God brought us together. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful upline and friend. Thank you God for continuing to bless me in spite of myself!
Thanks for stopping by today. May you be filled with love, joy and peace as you enter into this most wonderful of holidays.
Bless you for stopping by.
