Eyes and Fall

Here we are into Fall and I'm so thankful that my eyes can see all the beauty that surrounds me. Our creator is the Master of the Universe and is so amazing at what he prepares for us. I had to go to the optomologist today to have my eyes checked. I had a cold laser treatment which is bothersome when he does it and is a dull pain for the whole day. My eye is sensitive to light also. It's interesting to see the reaction of the kids when they come home and the blinds are drawn.
Today on splitcoast the challenge was to climb out of your comfort zone box and do something out of the ordinary for you. A difficult card for me is CAS-Clean and Simple. So I made this for that challenge. I stamped the big pumpkin and masked it while I stamped the second pumpkin. I masked that pumpkin and stamped the third pumpkin. I used the stamps from Falling Leaves for a contrast in texture for the card and added the words. What do you think? I wanted to a ribbon but had to restrain myself. LOL


This was a tag team challenge. It was fun. My upline started it and stamped the leaves on the left and added the pumpkin square. Then I added my round buttons with ribbon and crystal effects along with the grateful punched out in thoroughly modern punch.

I liked how this came out. I didn't use the handle for this jumbo wheel so I could see where the words were that I wanted to be seen on the card. I added leaves that were punched out with the 1 1/4" square punch and colored with a dauber. The circle has a dimensional under it. I added pumpking ribbon and a cute leaf brad. I'm so glad I picked them up when they were two for one.

I'm just about at the end of my first week back full time and I have to say it's been a true challenge for me. I am in more pain and have to pace myself. I may have to make some more adjustments but I pray that God will continue to strengthen me in my walking and in my walk with Him. Bless you for stopping by today.
