Great News and Cards Too

I have great news! I was dismissed from Physical Therapy! Woohoo! That means I've regained my balance, strength and range of motion from the surgery I had 9 weeks ago.
I am now walking the hallways at work without my cane, but I'm cautious. I sure don't want to lose my balance or overdo and have to go back to therapy.
Thanks to all who have been praying, it's worked.

This is for CC238 using pretty in pink, gray and sage. I have been wanting to use sage so this was perfect for me. I stamped on glossy cardstock, added the saying with dimensionals and the litle pink sparkles as ornaments on the trees. I love the pretty corners that this stamp set makes. I used patterned pines for this card.


This card was made using Serene Snowflakes and Two Cool Dudes stamp sets. The snowflakes were stamped with dazzle versa mark then embossed with clear ep. It's a nice look with this. I used a brayer to layer bashful blue ink onto the background. I used paper that I ripped and brayered over the paper to make the snow behind the snowman layered. The snowman has a faux edge to make him look like he's backed with black paper. It is black marker. The saying has brilliant blue sponged around the edges.

This was for CC238 where you were to use gray, pink and sage together. I just got this cute Patterned Pines set and wanted to see what it would look like it I stamped a few times to make a forest. I like this set and was debating cutting the trees apart. Has anyone done that? I added the saying with the thoroughly modern punch mounted on dimensionals and added two pink jewels.

I am very tired tonight but I was determined to stamp so I did the challenge on SCS. I'm off to rest for tomorrow will bring lots of challenges of its own.
