Fall Colors are Divine

I've been slowly getting card made for card ministry this Friday. Interestingly enough I usually leave the designing, paper cutting etc., until Thursday night and may be finishing Friday after dinner............really sometimes that happens!

This week I said I'd start on Sunday to get things done. It was such a nice way to work.

I used an SU folder for the background. I also used Autumn Traditions for the green paper which was edged with a lace punch. I stamped Happy Birthday in Cocoa and added the flowers to make this POP. I added a pretty brad for the flower's center.

This is another card for Card Ministry Friday. I needed to make a few sympathy cards and use up some of my designer paper. This is what I came up with.

Here is another card that Card Ministry will make Friday. We need encouragement cards since so many people are out of work or going through trying times.
What an encouragement indeed that we have a God that loves us more than anyone here on earth. He's with us each and every step of our journey here on earth. He NEVER leaves us in spite of our behavior. No one on earth can even compare!

A friend of mine gave me the fall folder so I used it on this fall card. I love lace and like the lace look of this card. I love this retired SU chocolate chip ribbon as well. I got a couple of spools before it retired. It goes perfectly with this paper, don't you think?
The saying, Happy Fall, is from the SU set, Happy Fall Y'All. It is retired also but I still have it because it was the first set I used to make a card here at home. My daughter and I made cards with it. Thankfully I don't still have them...........oh my when I think back where I was when I started and where I am now................I'm one of those people who loves to learn. So learning new things with stamping and education really appeals to me.

Now that it's officially Fall it seems like things are moving quickly. Before we know it we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving then Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, do you have your cards yet? I still have to make mine.........Yikes!!!! I'd better get going!
Take care and thank you for stopping by today.
