Card Ministry Friday

This is one of 5 cards I designed for Card Ministry this month. I am also trying to use up my Christmas design paper from SU. This is a rubbernecker stamp which was watercolored using the water color wonder crayons and an aqua painter. Yo-yo yellow was sponged around eges, hunter green paper for a frame then yo-yo yellow cardstock is the base.

I stamped the poinsettia in real red, the stamped again moving the stamp to create a shadow affect. Next the edges were sponged in real red then the pine branches were stamped in garden green. I added a brad. Lace background stamped in garden green, with thoroughly modern punch with Merry Christmas. This was a fun one to make.
I am looking forward to a few days off to celebrate Thanksgiving and unwind a bit.  I have several books to read and a dvd to watch.  I can't wait to finish the busy, rushed work week of two days this week and begin to relax and make Christmas Cards.  You have blessed me with your visit.  Thanks for stopping by.
May God continue to watch over and guide you.
