Isn't it interesting that even with a day at home, I didn't get much stamping done because I felt just yucky. I have a cold with the cough and ear aches that won't give up. I felt like an old person, sitting around and nodding off in chairs all day...........Finally after lunch I had enough energy to design a few cards for next week.
I was asked to come to Surf Zone which is a youth group for 5th and 6th grade kids. Wednesday they have Gym night where they get to play games in the gym instead of a lesson. Some of the girls dont' like to do gym night, so they asked me if I'd design some cards for them to stamp for the shut-ins who get meal delieveries. I said of course, so I'm trying to find something simple for them to do. I hope the card they will make will be simple enough.
See what you think.
This is a card I made for 5th and 6th grade girls could stamp at church. They will be making 40 some of these for shut-ins to have when their November meal is delivered to them. I need to have something very simple since they haven't stamped before. Do you think this is simple enough? Sometimes I have a hard time doing simple. I used the dot to dot design paper with the bright blessings wheel and mustard ink. I added ivory ribbon and the jumbo oval punch and the scallop oval punch using ruby red and choc chip.
This is a card that came about due to the left-overs I had from the first card I made. How perfect for Thanksgiving huh? I used the Bright Blessings wheel with mustard ink and wheeled it across the card twice. The I added the ruby red cardstock which was punched with the corner punch and I stamped inside the oval shape left from the scallop oval punch. I added the two borders with the scallop border punch.
This is a card made by my dear friend Patti. It was a thank you card for stamping supplies I gave her after we'd had a particularly hard day at work.
Isn't it beautiful?
It's almost time to go to the Mark Schultz concert here in downtown Cleveland. I am really looking forward to this.
What an amazing concert! We were in the beautiful Allen Theatre in downtown Cleveland. It is a wonderful place to have a concert like this. It was up close and personal compared to other Christian concerts I've been to. We took our kids and a few of their friends and had a wonderful time. I found a great interview Mark gave so I'm posting a link. See what you think of this guy. What a wonderful calling he has, to sing and serve the Lord by writing from his heart and life. He's a very sensitive guy. See what you think.
Thanks for stopping by........
