Back to Making Cards, Cleaning and Organizing the House and Hosting 8 Teens for a B-Day Party

I can't believe how tired I am tonight!  Why am I tired you ask?  Well yesterday my daughter and I ran around getting last minute items for her birthday party sleep over.  Then we got the house cleaned and things out that were needed for the party.  She wanted to have her friends decorate cupcakes.  So she baked the cupcakes, had batter left over so made those into cakes and frosted them.  then we had to use food coloring to make the buttercream frosting different colors.  Then we folded paper cones to fille with icing and tips to design with.  I was so tired from just that work but stayed up until 2:30 a.m. making sure the girls were okay. I also wasn't tired so I worked on making and filling out my Christmas cards.  Then I had to get up early today at 9 to make sure the girls were up, dressed, and fed before their mom's came to pick them up.
Today we had to clean things up from last night and run a few errands.  Oh my it was a struggle to stay awake to get things done around the house.  Being on vacation from work is making it easier to do things around here.
Here are the cards I made today using the Cuttlebug and the damask combo pack.  It cuts out items and embosses too.  I love it.

Check out Amy's blog here for the beautiful card directions. http://ustamp4fun.com/sponged-landsc...8Ustamp4fun%29 I love the wow factor here and needed some quick, easy cards to finish up my cardmaking this year. Thanks Amy for sharing your idea with us.
This is my card for the color challenge today. I used red, curry and sand I didn't have sand cs handy so I made my own using my ink and white paper. I stamped using the greenhouse garden set and addded punched circles to a scallop circle to make the design. I also cut out small branches in sand also.

This is the card I made using the new set called Abundant Hope which will be in the new mini catalog. It looks like an Easter set. I got the acrylic set not the wood mounted set.

I stamped in black then colored with markers. I put it through the cuttlebug with the damask folder. I stamped Birthday celebrations in the frame from garden from the heart.

This is the card I made when I was left with these two pieces from the cut out I made using the damask folder and cutting frame from my new cuttlebug set. Quick and easy thank you is what I needed.

Here's the new heart punch that SU will begin selling soon. The heart is tiny, tiny tiny on this border punch. I needed a thank you card and had this punched piece left over so I put it together into a thank you card. I love Roses in Winter.

Here is another punch which is used on both sides of this passion pink paper. The base of the card is vanilla cardstock on which I used brown, banana, pink passion, burmuda bay and sage shadow inks. Then I layered it with banana, bermuda bay and passion pink papers.

This is the card I made using the poinsettia folder which I inked the opposite side and ran it through the cuttlebug. This time it colored the background so the poinsettias stand out. I put the cardinal inside of the cut out of the damask cuttlebug set.

This is a card I made by putting vanilla cs through the cuttlebug with the poinsettia folder inked with red ink. I added the cut out elements from my damask cuttlebug set and made this cute card.

This is the birthday card I got from Patty H. Check out the border and thse pretty roses. The little card is darling also. Thanks so much Patty for the beautiful birthday card.

Well, I have to tell you I'm ready to go to sleep.  I sure hope I can though.  I have a terrible cough and an earache.  I don't want to be sick while I'm on vacation.  I hope God takes this away soon.  Bless you for stopping by.
