Cards That AREN'T Christmas!

So I finally got to play and found myself looking through my Stampin' Success magazine and saw a sample similar to this with a butterfly set.  I loved the colors and layout so I tried it with two sets that I have.  The one on the left if Kind Thoughts and the one on the right is Martha Stewart.  It has three
different butterfly stamps stored inside the cap of a butterfly punch.  It's pretty neat!  They don't stamp as well, but it's a cool idea.
The next card is Lovely As A Tree set where I used a dauber to add the colors then used a blender pen and ink from the top of the lid to make dots and lines in a Van Gogh style.  It was the technique lovers challenge for Monday.  I also added iridescent ice to the trees so they'd sparkle.

I'm so happy to spend some time making cards and enjoying friends.  Monday we had friends brave the snow to come and visit.  Tuesday another friend came to visit and we stamped and used our Cricut and Cuttlbug to make some things.  I have pieces parts right now that I have to put together in a project.  I'll have it together soon.  Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe and warm.
Blessings,
