It's the Day After Christmas and All Through it seems..........

....that most are still deep slumbering in their good dreams!
This was a day to sleep in after all of the excitement and food from yesterday.  Tim was up first, followed by me two hours later followed by Sarah two hours after that and Ben one hour after that!  Teenagers sure do need a lot of sleep.  It's like when they were infants, they ate then slept.  Now they eat, then eat again, then eat again, and eat again, then sleep for 12 hours on weekends.
Sarah got a camera for Christmas and has been taking pictures everywhere she goes.  I think we should have purchsed a battery charger for her!  It's been fun sharing camera taking tips with her and seeing what we come up with together.
I got two beautiful cards today from SCS friends.  The first one is from Maddy Mason who hasn't stamped in over a year.  So we're thrilled to see her back making cards, and commenting on galleries again.  This is her Christmas card this year!  Thank You Maddy!

This card is from Jami Sibley.  It is so full of lots of details.  Check out the sparkle on the moon, the bling and layers.  Wowzers, Jami, this is just beautiful!  Thanks for making my day today ladies.

We had our annual trip to Bedford Square, which is all lit up for Christmas and has music etc. We've been visiting there for 16 years now. It's 5 minutes from Tim's parent's house. This year we actually scheduled a good night to visit where the weather was tolerable. Last night it rained and sometimes it's been just cold, windy and awful to visit. We started to plan our visits to his parent's house according to the weather. We're finally getting smarter! LOL

I love to capture events like this on film to have to put in a scrapbook or on a dvd.  I've been wanting to put together an annual dvd with family events from the year added in pictures or video we take.  Add pictures and videos as they are taken then burn the dvd after Christmas and enjoy a year's worth of family events on one dvd.  I'm hoping to get something started while I'm on vacation from school between Christmas and New Years.
May God bless you and watch over you as we transition from 2009 to 2010.  Whether you say two-thousand ten or twenty ten, I wish you God's love, mercy, grace and blessings in the new year.
