Inspiration Saturday

DH had to work today so I did the family market shopping, which he usually does.  I'm hoping he's not too tired to go out tonight.  We're having date night!  Woohoo!  Kids are babysitting at church so we get to  go out too!  Not sure where we're going, but it will be nice I'm sure.

Here are some cards I made for the Inspiration Challenge for today.  I love workign with navy and white.

This is my take on the challenge today. I stamped in navy on white cardstock. The edges were sponged with navy ink. I made a 1/16" border in white and navy around the image and sponged those as well. I added iridescent ice with two-way glue and embossed it. I added white ribbon and then the sentiment.

This is for IC215 challenge today. As soon as I saw the sample online, I knew what I wanted to use to make this card. I stamped on white cardstock, sponged all sides then mounted to squares 1/16" larger. The flowers had 2-way glue applied then iridescent ice. I added Thanks from the kind and caring thoughts set. I like how this came out. Thanks for the fun challenge.

DH and I got to go on a date night.  We went out to eat and checked out a local mall..........have to tell you I don't usually 'do malls' so it was rather foreign to me. Saturday night there were just small groups of teens checking out other small groups of teens.  I was't comfortable with the little groups coming up on us then passing us.  I felt like I had to be on guard the whole time.  I didn't enjoy it at all.
We then rented a movie and watched a movie together.  That was a nice way to spend an evening.
Thanks for checking this out tonight.
Bless you,
