Friday Fun and Three Years of My Church Card Ministry!

So my therapy days are Tuesday and Friday so I call Friday my Friday Fun day! LOL  I told my therapist that I call my time physical torture........he said they've heard lots of people have names for them like that.  I just laughed and continued to work hard. I did notice that my leg lifts could be done with a weight this week.  Last week there was NO way.  God is so good isn't he?

Here's the card that I made for the challenge today.  We were supposed to make a get well or thinking of you card for someone and send it to them.  This is my get well card for F4A25. I used the brayer and added daffodil, pumpkin and cajun on the top note piece. Next I stamped in black in and colored the image with markers. I added red for the medicine using 3-d coloring tubes. next I added iridescent ice to the bottom of the image to add some sparkle. I added the flowers with a pearl in the center. This was mounted on daffodil with cherry corners.

Next I heard of a 16 year old whose family lost their home in a fire so I made a card for him.  I used the brayer with daffodil, pumpkin and cajun. I applied the circle for the sun and used a dauber of daffodil and pumpkin to make the circle around the sun. I tore paper to make the mountains in the background. I used espresso ink and a dauber. I used the same masked piece for the ground but turned it around. The tree is from the retired set Le Jardin Botanique.

Tonight we praised God for his mercy and for providing for the Card Ministry for three years!  We had about 15 lades there and one 10 year old boy.  We made 100 cards in an hour can you believe that?!  I was amazed at all that we accomplished.
Thank you for visiting today.  I need to get a good night's sleep for tomorrow we do major cleaning in preparation for 30 teens for dinner and a church meeting!
Bless your for stopping by.
