Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving-May your day be blessed and filled with love ones and God's Love.
What are you thankful for?
Me? that's so sweet...........LOL
I'm thankful for:
God
My husband
My kids
My Family
My Friends
and
YOU!
Today began with Tim and Sarah putting primer on the walls of her room.  Tim finished her ceiling last night.  It's going to be a dark purple room..............I hope she likes it when it's done.
Something new for us today was that everyone helped put the dinner together.  Tim got the turkey in and did gravy and corn.  Sarah and Ben made the sweet potato souffle, I peeled and cut potatoes.  It was fun to sit and all work together.  Tim usually does the whole thing, but was running late due to painting.  I hope we can do this again sometime soon, like Christmas.  It was fun to hear the kids laugh and talk about what they were doing.  They were teasing each other and Tim as well.
My in-laws came to dinner and it's always a nice time. They've had their share of cooking dinners like that and we like to do this for them now.  It's fun to hear them talk about times gone by and Tim remembering some of the things they discuss.....more memories for us ya know?
I got to read and finish a book today too.  It's the first book in a long, long, time.  It's called Promise Me by Richard Paul Evans.  Another great read from him!  I have signed up at the library for his next book which comes out in spring of 2011.
I also got to stamp and made a card for the Free 4 All challenge at SCS called Just Desserts.
I made this card.
This is a stamp that was donated to our card ministry. It is a cheap, plastic stamp but looked nice when I stamped it. So I colored it then used my versa marker and added heat and stick powder to the pink icing then dazzling diamonds. I did the same to the border after I sponged with concord. I embossed the background with the SU folder Finial Press. I added ribbon and words.

Thanks for stopping by.  I am praising God for all I have and all He's done for me and my family.  May you feel his blessings and love.  My life isn't perfect, it isn't pain free, it isn't without problems, but I have God and He's with me every step of the way.  I'm so thankful for that.  What do people do who don't know God?  I can't image how hard life is without HIM.
Praying that you are one step closer to accepting Christ into your life.  Your life will never be the same.
