I have to tell you that I had a wonderful Christmas. We had a friend over to spend the afternoon and early evening. We stamped, talked, ate, stamped, well you get the picture.
This morning one of the gifts I got was a poem from Ben. Here it is:
Meaning by Ben Craig 12/24/10
The snow is ever falling upon the sleepy ground.
The moon slips up at dark with the silence all around.
Something different, something wonderful awaits the dreary world
As the lone baby's arms are tucked and curled.
Some years later we come to find a distorted view,
Of the way things should be, sparkled and new.
The lights and tree, it may seem all so great,
But the reason behind it all seems to be told, "Just wait"
Back to that night with the stars up above.
A heavenly host brings forth great news of vast love.
The Shepherds were excited, with their voices they praised,
An almighty Father who was born to die and be raised.
Today when Christmas is named and decides to come.
This miracle is only wanted by some.
The shopping an baking are great things to do.
But the meaning of this day is decided by you.
So remember what he did for you and for me.
As it holds true throughout the whole year, you see?
In a blink an a flash it will all be gone,
And we will soon find out if you were singing our Savior's song.
From Sarah, Tim and I received a DVD called, A Walk Down Memory Lane.
It was pictures of the kids when they were little. It also played music that we listened to when they were little. I cried and cried when I heard and saw what she had put together.
Wish I could show it here.
Take care and may Christ be first in your life.
Blessings,
Sue
This is a place where I can share my love of family, stamping and the Lord.
