I had time today to make two cards. One will be for my stamping group this month. The other will go to a special woman I don't know.
This first card was made for today's color challenge. It was to use, coral, red, and olive. I love how this emboss resist card came out. I love the sponging of both on the flowers. They seem to really compliment each other. I made another card like this with just red and posted it already for the Stampin Up Only Card.
This second card will go to a woman in Louisiana who is battling cancer. This is part of a group of ladies on Splitcoaststampers that find people in need, then make and send cards with a decided theme. Because this woman is in Louisiana, we were to do something with Mardi Gras, or alligators, or flowers or fences.
She has begun treatment. I hope her mailbox gets flooded with cards to let her know she's being thought of and prayed for. The theme for the challenge was Mardi Gras. I traced the mask then colored and decorated it. I dry embossed it. I stamped the music then added the black and gold paper which also was embossed. The items were added with dimensionals. I love the gold accent on this, especially embossed.
Blessing of the Day: Bible Study with Chuck and Maryanne. Maryanne was hit from behind at a stop sign. She is fine and so is the other driver;a man. I was so thankful that she was okay and not hurt. Thank You God.
Thank you for stopping in today.
Blessings,
