 I had some interesting discoveries this week and just had to share with you.

You can add embossing powder to ribbon?

I think I embossed more this past week than I have in the last few months! LOL I love how delicate this heart is. I used Versamark ink then silver embossing powder. I heat set it and added silver paper behind it. I wanted to bring more attention to the heart so I offset the silver paper to make points.

I put this on the Timeless Plaid designer series paper and added a sentiment.

I pushed the linen thread into the Versamark ink then used my reverse tweezers to dip it into silver embossing powder. I heat it with my heat tool, and voila, silver thread!

Check out my video to see how other ribbons look with gold or silver embossing powder. Be very careful when doing this so you don't get burned.
