Nancy's challenge to us was to use a bag or make a bag. The challenge can be found here.
I made a box in a bag. The tutorial can be found here. The stamp set I used is called Rustic Centerpiece. I stamped with memento tuxedo black ink then colored with Copic Markers. The designer series paper I used is called, Autumn Toile. I have to say when this first came out I wasn't crazy about it, but it grew on me. The more I saw samples of cards, the better I liked it. Isn't that the way it usually works? You don't want something until you've seen what others do with it? LOL
I followed the tutorial and added a border strip at the bottom and the top of my bag. I added my image with dimensionals then I added the tabs at the top and put the ribbon through it and tied a bow.

You could put crafting items inside, candy, cash, gift cards, jewelry, baked goods, and how about hot chocolate with a candy cane and marshmallows?
How about a S'mores pack? You could wrap graham crackers, marshmallows, and Hershey bars and add them to the bag. You might even add a small skewer and small candle so they can heat their marshmallows and pretend it's a camp fire.
You could also make something like a flu or cold kit. You could put chicken soup, tissues, cough drops or Chapstick to give to a sick friend.
You could make a birthday bag! How about a fun mug with the mix for a cake in a mug? You could also have frosting and birthday candles. Wouldn't that be a cute gift for someone?
You could include a small card as well.
Okay, I think I've given you enough ideas for this. I think I'll make a few of these for family this year. It will be fun to see the kids open them.
Well, once again, thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
Sue
