When I saw this challenge, I immediately thought of the Stampin' Up background stamps I had that were maps. Then I thought instead of doing plain black, I'd do it in gold.
Then I thought of having to use paper maps back in the day and sometimes even with the best intentions, you'd get lost.
Then I saw my Unity birds as I was getting the map stamp and knew which bird I'd use. I used him because he looked like me when I got lost even with a map! LOL
I masked the first bird and added two more. I layered the image and the map panel then added the sentiment which was handwritten. How's that for a play on words?
How's that for a rabbit hole to go down, for a card? LOL
If you were to do this challenge, do you have any type of map stamps?
I found a cool map when I looked for treasure maps.
You can also tear it to make it look old.
I just might have to try to use this for a card. How about you?
You might even have a real map somewhere that you could use as your background. That would really be fun.
Well, I hope you give this a try.
Thanks for taking time with me today. I'm having a cup of coffee as I write this today.
May you enjoy your day.
Blessings,
Sue
