Another Fun Fold Card

 Hey Everybody,

Today's card is from a Featured Stamper Challenge that came from Julie. You can find the challenge here.

Here is the inspiration for my card.

Here is my card.

I didn't have the dies for this stamp set, so I fussy cut the different layers. Each layer was added with a dimensional so they each stood out. I liked her idea of using embossed panels behind the image panel. These are optional, but I think they add so much to the card.

I also liked using Warmest Winter Wishes so this could be a card that could be sent all winter long.  I didn't stamp a sentiment on the card because I'm not sure what I'm going to use this for, so I left it blank.

Sometimes that's the best thing to do, just leave it blank until you know who it's going to.

In the video, Dee doesn't show how to add the ribbon nor does she give the measurement of her ribbon. I cut a 5" piece of ribbon and wrapped it behind the white card layer and adhered it with adhesive. Then I took another 5" piece of ribbon and tied it in a simple bow and stuck it to the front of my other ribbon piece with glue dots.

Paper: white, pretty peacock, SU-Elegant Pine Snowflakes designer series paper
Paper Size: A2
Ink: SU Delicate Pines
Accessories: Couture Creations-A Twiggy Christmas embossing folder, shaded spruce gold edge ribbon, faceted snowflakes-SU
Techniques: fancy fold, dry embossing

I made my card using the video by Dee Slater to make my card.
I hope you like this idea for a card. See what you have in your stash that you could use to make this card your own.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Blessings,
Sue
