Studio 2.0 and a Fun Winter Card

 Hey Everybody,

You'll never guess what. Schools are closed again tomorrow because of very cold temperatures. Yup, once again the kids will be home. Not sure if I'll get Mia for a bit or not.

Today we made chocolate chip cookies from scratch. Do you remember making Toll House Cookies by reading the recipe on the back of the package? Well, that's what we did. It was fun and tasty too.

Mia was excited to take a bag of cookies home to enjoy with Mama and Dada.

I began working on a new lap blanket today and will get a picture soon. I want to work on it long enough so it looks like a blanket.

I also worked on my bottom drawer with embellishments and scrapbooking stuff. Check it out.

Here is the original picture of things that were just put there to get them put somewhere when I moved into this studio.

Here's the drawer now. Scrapbook things on the left and My Christmas, Penguin, Snowflakes and Snowmen stamps are on the right side where the embellishments were.
The embellishments were put into clear envelopes and added to an upper cupboard that has current Stampin' Up embellishments.
Here is the original lower drawer with the Christmas stamps etc. taking up the first two rows of the drawer.

Here it is after moving the Christmas stamps. Now I have three free rows so now I'll be able to make a bit of room in all of the containers to accommodate and new stamps that should fall into my cart sometime.
The Card Ministry stamps are still on the far right so they are close to me when I need them. I use them all the time.

I saw this today and it described me perfectly.

Speaking of Winter, here is the card I made for the color challenge today. It is going to a friend of mine who wants a stamp made that says, "Make It Stop!" So, I stamped this card for her.

Our challenge is to use fresh freesia, bubble bath, black and anything goes for dessert. The challenge can be found here
My anything goes was to stamp on acetate.
I stamped my lady and colored her with Copic Markers. I die cut the sentiment balloon and write my sentiment. I used snowflakes from my Whimsy set to stamp on the acetate as an overlay for my card. This is for my friend, who told me she wants a stamp that says, MAKE IT STOP! This is the best I can do for her! LOL
Stamps: Art Impressions-AHH Set, Whimsy Stamps-Penguin Holiday Squares
Paper: black, white
Paper Size: A2
Ink: boho blue, white, night of navy, azure afternoon
Accessories: acetate, SU-Just Sayin' dies-retired, Copic Markers
Techniques: coloring, stamping on acetate

Well, stay warm and stay safe. We had a nasty snow squall come through today that had 40 mph winds and was blowing snow sideways. It was a white-out. I'm so glad I wasn't driving and that Ben had just arrived at our house to pick up Mia.

Here's hoping you can make cards, scrapbook pages or something made by your hands.
Thank you for stopping by today.
Blessings,
Sue
