Color Challenge Using Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight, Wild Wheat and Moody Mauve

 Hey Everybody,

I've got a color challenge for you today.  The challenge can be found here.  The colors for today are, Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight, Wild Wheat. For an added challenge, you were to add another color.  I added Moody Mauve. How did I know what color to add? Check out this link to the SU Color Lab.

This is a website where you can mix and match Stampin' Up colors to see what colors look good together. When I listed Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight and Wild Wheat, one of the colors that came us was Moody Mauve. It's a retired color, but I have some designer paper that has mauve in it.

I searched online for a quilt pattern that was easy to make. Here's what I used.

Here's the video and the print version she shows at the end of her video.

Here's the card I made for the color challenge.

This card uses paper scraps. You need 2 squares that are 1 5/8" square. You cut these two squares in half, diagonally.

Next you need two more designer series papers that are cut at 1 5/8" square. These two squares will be cut into fourths, diagonally.

These get placed on 1 7/8" squares then added to your card base. Then punch a designer paper 3/4" circle and a 1" background circle to add to your quilt.  Add a sentiment and you're finished.

How's that for easy? I hope you give this a try.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Blessings,

Sue
