Hey Everybody,
Today's card is a sketch challenge. I chose several different designer series patterns for my card. The paper is called Perennial Lavender.

Lisa's challenge this week can be found here. I cut my paper and added it to white paper. Then used the floral spray 3D embossing folder on that white layer. It made me wonder what this large flower would look like as the centerpiece of this card. So I dry embossed white cardstock then colored the flowers and leaves with Copic Markers. I pulled gorgeous grape ink over the debossed side of the paper.
I backed it with shaded spruce paper then added it with dimensionals to the designer series paper layer. That layer was added to a gorgeous grape card base. Lastly, I added purple gems and the sentiment which was punched out with the key tag punch. |

Floral spray embossing folderDo you use embossing folders? Do you have a favorite way to use them? Most of us use it as a background. I liked using this one as a main image for my card. I'm going to have to look at some of my other embossing folders and see what else I can use as my main image. Thanks for stopping by today.
Blessings,
Sue
