Cards With Banners

 Hey Everybody,

Our challenge today is to make a flag, banner or bunting.  You can find the challenge here.

I stamped the image which is a House Mouse stamp called, Sweet Nectar.  I colored it with Copic Markers. Then I used blending brushes and ink to make the sky and ground. For the sky I used balmy blue and for the ground, crumb cake.

I used a dauber to edge the flag with early espresso to make it stand out.

I punched a heart to add to the flag. I added sparkly blue discs then added wink of stella to the flower and bird. The flag was attached to the designer paper with dimensionals. The designer paper is an old paper pad from K&C Company called Cottage Garden.

Keywords: MIX699
Stamps: House Mouse-Sweet Nectar
Paper: white, K&C Company Cottage Garden
Paper Size: A2
Ink: memento tuxedo black, early espresso, balmy blue, crumb cake
Accessories: Copic Markers, blending brushes, dauber, dimensionals, heart punch, blue discs, banner die, cloud die, wink of stella
Techniques: coloring, color blending
You could stamp just about any image and take that cardstock and turn it into a banner. You could also have done a banner for your sentiment.
Here are some samples from the gallery for this challenge.

Well, what you do think?  Lots of different ideas. What would you do for this challenge?
I think if I did this again I might do a birthday banner. Maybe a little flag for each letter of a person's name.

Thanks for stopping by today. Here in Northeast Ohio, we're having to deal with thick smoke coming down from Canada from fires there. Our air quality is such that we've been told to stay indoors. They say we have rain coming which will help clear things up.

Take care.
Blessings,
Sue
