Color Challenge: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Berry Burst and You Add The Fourth Color

 Hey Everybody,

Roberta's challenge has us using old olive, berry burst and daffodil delight. Dessert this week is to add a fourth color. I chose azure afternoon. You can find Roberta's challenge here

I took a piece of white cardstock and used the 4 colors and blending brushes all over randomly. I dry embossed the cardstock on the debossed side with the Stampin' Up! 3D embossing folder called, Layered Florals.
Then I pulled black ink over the cardstock. This is called, The Blackout Technique.
I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with the double oval punch, then did a second one in black to layer.
I used my copic marker to color the white ribbon and added it to my sentiment.
I added the sentiment from the Stampin' Up! set called Phrases & Frames with dimensionals.
Lastly, I added colored rhinestones in the small flower centers. This will go on a dinner tray at a local hospital.

Keywords: CC1109
Stamps: Stampin' Up!-Phrases & Frames
Paper: white, berry burst, black
Paper Size: A2
Ink: daffodil delight, berry burst, old olive, azure afternoon, black
Accessories: blending brushes, white ribbon, copic marker, double oval punch, Stampin' Up!-Layered Florals 3D embossing folder, Honey Bee Stamps colored rhinestones, dimensionals
Techniques: black out technique

This is becoming one of my favorite ways to make a background. I love to experiment with different colors and different embossing folders.

What would you do with these colors? What would your fourth color be?

What I did to choose a color that would go well with these three, was to go to this link.

This is a screen shot of what it looks like after I chose the three colors I wanted. Then I clicked the first button over which is search. It then put the colors below my choices so I could see what might look good together.

Well, here are some choices for you. This is a great tool for card making, especially if you aren't using designer series paper but using tools to color images or adding colors with dies or punches.

Thanks for stopping by.

Blessings to you,

Sue
