Our challenge is to use black and purple for our card. I started with the purple designer paper. I stamped the mouse on white cardstock and colored him and behind him with Copic Markers. I added black and purple washi tape to white cardstock then cut it out with leaf dies. I used black glimmer paper behind the image. I stamped the sentiment in gorgeous grape then punched it out with the double oval punch. All elements were added with dimensionals.

Our challenge was to use at least one jack-o-lantern on our card. I stamped my pumpkins using the stamps from a set called, Gathering Together then colored them in with Copic Markers. I used a Sharpie black marker to color the face. I cut out a large leaf from the designer paper to let the jack-o-lanterns peek out. I dry embossed the designer paper to add texture and interest. I outlined the leaf with my pecan pie stampin' Write marker so it would show up better. I colored the background around the pumpkins with a Copic Marker. I die cut the sentiment pumpkins, stamped the sentiment then stamped off once and stamped the image. I added orange gems and lots of dimensionals on the back of the designer paper.

Our challenge was to make a card with a winter beverage. This is one of my favorite winter stamps. It is called, Hot Cocoa Days. It is a newer stamp from about a year ago. I stamped the image in memento rich cocoa brown ink. I colored the window frame a blue color, then colored the mice and their cups. I used a blending brush to color the sky. Before coloring the sky, I masked the moon. After coloring the sky, I added glue to the areas where there was frost on the window so I could add fun flock. I like the texture and look the flock gives. I stamped the sentiment in misty moonlight ink. Lastly, I added rhinestones to mimic stars in the sky.

It's been another busy week so far. Monday I had a card class, Tuesday I stamped with a friend in the morning then in the afternoon I watched the grand blessings. The 9 month old said da-da repeatedly as I changed his diaper. That's the first word I've heard him say!
Today I have another card class in the afternoon. Thursday I have another card class. Friday is another card class and a possible lunch with a certain 4 year old!
Time to turn in for some sleep. Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you visit again soon. I hope you try some of these challenges. Blessings, Sue
