Bunches Three

Here I am again at the end of a very long day at work and home. I should be asleep but I wanted to upload my card for tonight. This was for the Ways to Use It 133 challenge on Splitcoast Stampers; you had to use food. I saw lots of chocolate at the beginning of the thread, so I didn't want to use chocolate. Then while I was looking through my stamps I came upon Sun Ripened II. I love the look of these fruits. Anyway, using my stamp-a-ma-jig, I was able to connect the three bunches of grapes and watercolor them. While working I also remembered I had some distressing ink in dark brown, so I sprayed it on the vanilla card stock. I like the way it came out.
In making this, I started to think of things in threes...triplets, 3 blind mice, My Three Sons....well you get the picture. Anyway the trinity came to mind so did my husband and kids. The three people I love most in the world. Anyway I started to think about the wedding set I got which has a center stone which stands out with two stones on each side with smaller stones in channels on the band. When we first picked out our wedding rings I wanted something that represented God in our lives. So I wanted God in the center of our relationship with us on each side of him. The small stones in the channels around the other stones represent our children, families and friends. They surround us but aren't more important than my spouse or God. I daily have a reminder of who is #1 in my life. I wish I treated Him like that all the time however. I pray that I'll treat God as the most important relationship I have in my life.
Blessings and Hugs until next time.

I share your emphasis on placing God first and foremost and how hard it can be because "we" get in the way ... I love your card and how you've tied the grape clusters together. very nice!
