Fall Thank You

So tonight I was busy putting together some Fall Thank You cards for our PTA president to use. She asked for some Fall and Christmas Cards. The Fall cards are finished and will be delivered to her tomorrow. I will work on the Christmas Thank You cards soon. I have to tell you that using that wheel for the red leaves made this project go quickly. I love the spectrum ink pads that are out for fall. The colors are so nice. I used various colors for these leaves and scarecrows.
I entitled this post Fall Thank you for two reasons. The first one is because of the type of cards these are. The second one is for the Thank You that I gave God this morning in our service. This morning we were told by our pastor that usually in a year's time they baptize about 100 people. This morning at our three services a total of 100 people were baptized! Can you believe that?! God is working in our church. The wonderful thing was that there was an excitement in the air. Many teens were being baptized which was so encouraging to see. They all cheered for each other. The youth group at our church is one of the best I've seen. I'm so glad my children are involved in it.
To see so many people committing themselves to Christ by following in believer's baptism was such a joyful experience that I cried a couple of times just watching people being dunked. Please pray that my two kids will come forward to be baptized. They are believers and we'd like them to be baptized. The first Sunday in December will be the next time they do this.
Thank you Lord for your hand in my life. Please help me to search for you and keep you near.
