Well it's officially fall and I'm still thinking about playing baseball. Only because of this cute little guy that I found at Hobby Lobby last weekend. Isn't he the cutest? Wish I would have had him during the summer when my kids were playing baseball and softball. Oh well, maybe I can incorporate him into a scrapbook page or two. The image is watercolored with watercolor crayons and an aqua painter. I had fun making this card tonight.
It's been a long day. Today at work we had an all day meeting. We did stop for lunch, but do you know what it's like to listen to people talk from 8:30 until 2:45 with a 40 minute break for lunch? Ugh!!! So hard to pay attention. By the end it was funny to watch how many people were nodding off!! I know that's what I must look like to God sometimes. I nod off in the middle of quiet time, or a time when I'm praying. Have you ever found yourself praying then thinking about something else entirely? I somethings think during prayer time I'm Attention Deficit Disorder!! LOL Sometimes it seems to hard to focus on my prayers. I pray that God will continue to be patient with me and that I will overcome this difficulty in my prayer life. Sometimes I think that might be why I write things in a journal.

Adorable card! Love how you colored him.
Very good point on using a journal to stay focused during prayer. I like that. Kinda like writing a letter to God. Then you can come back and look at it later on. Great idea.
