Caring and Loving Hearts

This was done as a limited supply challenge from SCS. You had to make a card for someone battling cancer and you couldn't use hardware, ribbon or designer paper. That's next to impossible for me but I think I did it!
This card was in my head when I read the challenge. Rarely does a card come out as I planned. Somewhere in the process it changes and morphs into something of its own.
This card will go to Maddy Mason, a talented and wonderful lady on SCS. She's battling cancer and loves to get encouragement in the form of cards. Who doesn't?
I have several other ladies who are battling breast cancer, that I know so I hope to make several more cards for them.
Here is a link to my gallery so you can get all of the details about this card.
You know it's amazing what lives can be changed when we use our hearts not our heads. We change by sharing ourselves with others. Our relationships change and we grow so wonderfully in our walk with the Lord. He is so right when he says to concentrate on others and our love for them or His love for them, instead of ourselves. You know, every time I've felt depressed, all I had to do was turn my efforts toward helping someone else and I forget how sad I am. Most times when this happens, God also brings people into my life what are facing bigger giants than I've ever faced. That often makes me so aware that what I'm battling is myself and the area of 'me' that likes to feel sorry for itself, ya know? It's not the outside really that is depressing, it's what I tell myself that often gets me depressed. I continue to thank God for allowing me to serve Him and those he puts in my path.
Blessings and Hugs until we meet again.
