So, it's been a while since I've posted, can you tell it's been busy here? Oh my, with going to a doctor's appt. and having the flu visit us, this past week has been very busy medically. I missed three days of work in a row, which really puts me behind in planning and just day to day information that I don't have. Yet, God allowed me to go in on Wednesday and not be stressed out at all. I was able by Friday to have all my lesson plans in order, materials to be used for next week pulled together, and some extra things done too. Do you know on the morning I came back after praying for God's help to get things done, He helped me through and impromptu meeting that a fellow staff member wanted to have..........she knew I'd been out three days in a row...yet wanted to meet at her convenience.........yup, I allowed God to give my answer, not ME!! LOL And you know what? I think I was blessed because if it! How funny is that? I was blessed with a peace that I could feel and not only did I feel calm after the meeting, I found other things got done so quickly that I was doing things on my other list. Do you have one of these, the list that maybe someday if you have time, you'll do? Well anyway, by Friday morning, I had time to do the EXTRA list. God is good isn't he?
So, what have I been up to? Well I've been making cards for challenges on Splitcoast. I've also been finishing my Christmas cards. I'm just about ready to send them out. I have a variety of cards I made and posted on Splitcoast. I had 70 when I photographed, and hopefully it will be close to 100 when I finish this weekend. My secret is to stamp my images that I want to color and take them with me when I go places and color with my watercolor crayons and aqua painter while I wait.....Do you know how many places your wait in a week? I have found that instead of fretting about how long I'm sitting somewhere, I'm smiling and happily working on coloring. That sure does change my outlook ya know?
Anyway, here's what I've been working on lately.
Here is my 3x3 card for the 3x3 challenge on Splitcoast.
This card challenge was to use some kind of tape in your card. I used the blue painter's tape and ran it through the Cuttlebug....never done that before! LOL My husband looks at some of these things and just shakes his head.........although when he sees some of the tools I use, like the Cropodile, he says it looks like a great tool, and he wants one just because of how it looks. You know how men do, they buy tools like we buy stamps! They hang their tools where all can see and it doesn't matter if it gets used once, many times or never! Sometimes stamp sets are that way for me.......when I see something I have to have it, and want it, then get it and it isn't what I wanted, or I use it once or twice then it sits on a shelf..........hmmmmm
When I went into being a demonstrator for Stampin' Up, it was with the idea that I'd start a card ministry and use the money I earned from SU sales and workshops, to sustain the ministry. I also saw how easy it was to want everything in the catalog NOW. God led me to a Christian upline who had the same values and concerns. We both work very hard at ordering only after we've made a list and let it sit for a week or so. Then we go back and see if we have the same desire for all that's posted there. We also keep in close contact and let each other know what we are ordering, so if we order something it is something the other doesn't have. (Unless it's one of those "can't live without" sets. LOL
Well, that's all for now. It's time to get decorations up. May you know the true meaning of Christmas and carry it in your heart each day. Until we meet again...
This is a place where I can share my love of family, stamping and the Lord.

I'm afraid I wasn't able to view your pics. I only got the red x in the corner, but I certainly enjoyed what you wrote. Isn't His peace extraordinary. When you're use to be at wits ends, not feeling prepared for everything at work and everyone needs something from you, if you turn your problems over to the Lord, He just seems to help settle your thoughts and set you on the straight path.
