Fun Challenges and Fun Party

This was a fun day all the way around. I had fun doing the challenge for today which was follow List 6 with limited supplies. I really thought these images from high hopes stamps were cute. They are watercolored with crayons and aqua painters. I wanted to make this duck cute and silly so I added the paper to his wings. We were allowed to use up to 3 pieces of designer paper. I need some cards to cheer someone up so he'll probably get the job. This is SU's Cutie Pie paper. I didn't love it until I saw it used by my upline.

This is the second card I did for limited supply challenge today. This little penguin is colored using ink from lids of ink pads: turquoise, pomegranate and groovy guava were used. Bali Breeze SU paper was used and the pomegranate ribbon too. The oval was bali paper with some pomegranate sponged on the edges.
I needed some thank you cards so I thought this would make a bright, cheerful one.

Today my daughter had her party for friends. She couldn't have been more excited nor had more fun. I thank the Lord that he allowed her friends to be able to come today. We were truly blessed by their presence today. It's been so long since Sarah's had contact with these friends from her old school. It was well worth the investment in time and money. I have great news! I went to a place that I've deemed, "Headache Heaven", and I didn't get a headache and need Excedrin today! I got some cute pictures and all the kids had a GREAT time.
This is Sarah and one of her friends playing one of the games. Have a day that is all you hope for. May you feel God's presence each and every step of the way.
