Merry Christmas-Christ is Born-Hallelujah

Here is a 6x6 set of pages I did with my new software. Let me know what you think.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a very Happy Birthday to our Lord and Savior! We have been sweetly blessed once again this day.

That night some shepherds were in the fields outside the village, guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terribly frightened, but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news of great joy for everyone! The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born tonight in Bethlehem, the city of David! And this is how you will recognize him: You will find a baby lying in a manger, wrapped snugly in strips of cloth!”
Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God:
“Glory to God in the highest heaven,

and peace on earth to all whom God favors.”

When the angels had returned to heaven, the shepherds said to each other, “Come on, let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this wonderful thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

They ran to the village and found Mary and Joseph. And there was the baby, lying in the manger. Then the shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said to them about this child. All who heard the shepherds’ story were astonished, 19 _ but Mary quietly treasured these things in her heart and thought about them often. 20The shepherds went back to their fields and flocks, glorifying and praising God for what the angels had told them, and because they had seen the child, just as the angel had said.

How can you not be excited about the birth of Jesus? I saw God's hand at work last night in our family. We had some difficulties and misunderstandings that disappeared when we prayed that He'd send Satan from our midst and help us to enjoy the birth of Jesus in harmony. We were able to do just that.

My DH and I have traditionally exchanged gifts together while children slept. It was OUR TIME to enjoy each other. Last night DH set up a 'date night'. He got wine, cheese and crackers and set it up. We opened gifts then enjoyed our 'date'. It was a wonderful way to start our Christmas.

This morning we were again blessed. DH got up early made Cinnabons and coffee. We enjoyed our breakfast, sang Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus, ate breakfast, then read the account of Jesus' birth from the Bible. Our children take different parts and read it to us. Then we celebrate His birthday by opening presents. What a beautiful morning it's been.

What are some of your Christmas traditions?

May you continue to be blessed by God each and every day of your life. May you feel His presence every second of every day.

Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Jesus!

It all sounds so lovely. I was fortunate to be able to take my folks to their Christmas Eve service. My mom had never gone to one. Can you imagine, a Pastor's wife never going to a Christmas Eve service, but she was always too busy. She went this time as she was their special music. (She plays the piano like nobody's business, even at age 85!) It's a memory I will cherish.
