You really have boosted my spirits and encouraged me during our conversation tonight. I'm praying for you too.
God does more than we could possibly imagine believe it or not. He knows what we need. He continues to bring Christian women into my life to encourage me. I'm so glad God is my Father and sends me gifts of people each day to interact with.

Today was a mom day.........I just needed some time to do things for me. Do you ever have pajamas day? You know, a day where you stay in your pj's and hope no one shows up at your door? LOL That was today for me.
I stamped, read, stamped and even got some time on the bike in the basement. It's amazing what you can get done when you're on vacation.
The first card was done for todays sketch challenge on SCS. It doesn't happen often, but with this card, I knew what I wanted to do and had a picture in my mind. That doesn't often happen with me. I used my nestabilities and coluzzle to make the different circles. The background is brayered sky which can be learned from Michelle on the main SCS page.
The background is the faux wood technique. It's really and fun and easy technique.
I also used acetate for the window which isn't obvious here in the photo. My DD suggested the ribbon on both sides.

Tonight I began working on last week's sketch challenge. I loved it from the time I saw it last week. I used Applie Cider design paper from SU. My personal challenge was to use the side of the paper with the white dots and use the photo corner punch.
This was a card that I didn't see in my head, it just developed as I went along.

May you feel the presence of God in your life and may you know He's there 24/7. He'll never leave you...........what comfort I find in that. I pray that you do too.
