So, I'm on vacation and I'm finishing my Christmas preparations. I got to play a challenge on SCS which I haven't done in a while. It was fun to use tissue paper on a project. I chose to put it on a square ornament. I like how it turned out. This is for ways to use it 145, you had to stamp on tissue paper or something to use with a gift. I will use this for a gift. I stamped in versamark on this plastic square shaped ornament and embossed gold flowers in the center. Next I cut a paper template with 1" circles punched out. I made a tissue paper piece the same size with holes cut out and stamped on it. Then I used clear liquid glue to hold the tp in place. I went over the tissue paper with mod podge and let it dry. Then I used my new SU rub-ons for the next of the ornament. I put some iridescent seed beads in the bottom for sparkle and sound.
I am really enjoying my time off. Today I ran around doing errands for 3 1/2 hours though which isn't fun, but I enjoyed getting things crossed off my to-do list. Then I could stamp. Had to get kids to the Orthodontist as well so it's been a busy one.
My DH and I both have tomorrow off. Kids are in school one more day so we're using it as a 'date day.' We'll wrap presents and do somethings we don't ordinarily get to do. I'm looking forward to it.
A Challenge for you:
I am also praying a woman named Kristina. I got an email that made me so sad. Here it is:
My friend Christina is thirty-nine and a beautiful person. She has known pain and grief, and still tries to find the smile and laughter to overcome the pain and fear. Her husband Eric and herself have tried for years to become parents without success. After surviving the loss of their less than a week old son, a new painful situation has now entered their life.
Christina has been diagnosed with inoperable, incurable brain cancer. The prognosis is poor. With the option of aggressive treatment, the doctors give her approximately three months to live.
As I write out my Christmas cards, I want to send her my love and support, as well as showing Christina and Eric Christ’s love. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and if the Lord placed it on your heart, send her a little love.

If you feel the urge to pray for this couple or send them a card it would be very much appreciated.
May God Bless you and keep you until we meet again.

Your ornament is so fun! I love that idea.
Thank you for sharing the information on this poor couple in Ohio. My heart just aches for them. I've been so blessed and can't imagine what she is going through. I will lift them up in prayers.
