Photo Wallet and Stampscapes

I took the challenge on Splitcoaststampers today and made a photo wallet of Sarah's Bday party with friends. It was a challenge that took longer than I thought it would. I will post the inside and then update it when I photograph it with the pictures and writing inside. When I do something for the first time I try to keep it simple and follow closely to what the directions were. When I try this again, I'll vary a bit more from the original. Keep in mind this is my first one, ever! LOL The first picture is the inside.

The second picture is the front of the wallet.

The third picture is the belly band which keeps it closed.

Yesterday played around with some new stamps to me. They are stampscapes.
I have stamped some on shiny cardstock and played with coloring with daubers, cotton balls and q-tips. I know I have a long way to go but liked playing with blending of colors and different affects. The first one I wanted to look like it was in a frame. It's called, Silent Night.

The second is Woodgrain Church. I wanted the look of wood with the wooden church as sunset.

The third is sunset church where I played around with layering the colors of the clouds with a cloud stamp.

I thought these would make great stamps to use for our card ministry. Once I play around with them and feel more comfortable I'll try mixing and matching stamps I got and words that might go with these as well.
May our Lord bless you and keep you near to Him until we meet again.
Next time I hope to have more pictures of the basement.......drywall is up on one wall.

Sarah looks so happy at her bday party! The wallet is a good idea to display those.

Great job creating the sky backgrounds on the stampscape cards.
