Roses Roses Roses

This is my envelope pouch made for Monday's challenge on SCS. Since it was President's Day I was off from school and did this early in the day. When I first saw these Kitchen Sink stamps I loved them. I've really tried to resist them but found it impossible. My tiny Italian Grandma loved roses and I think when she died she passed that love on to me. It took me a few tries to get the hang of these stamps since there are 4 per rose. What I found worked for me was to stamp off first with the lightest color, then stamp it full strength for the second rose layer. Then choose two more colors for layers 3 and 4. This pouch is so quick and easy to do that it will come in handy when I need just something little to give to someone. You know, I find that there's never a bad time for a random act of kindness. They are always appreciated and sometimes it's fun to do them and not let the person know who thought of them today. May God continue to watch over and guide you. May He be the one you turn to in times of need. May He be the one you talk to throughout your do to keep you on your course. Blessings and Hugs until we meet again.

What a sweet story about your grandmother and roses! My grandmother loved pansies, when I was little I thought she was nuts (but in a good way) since she was always talking about the "little faces" (the pansy flowers). I now love pansies and think of her when I see them.

And your little envie pouch is just adorable! The roses are beautiful and the pearl the PERFECT touch!
