Birthday Wish

This was another fun card to make using Splitcoast's blue challenge which was the Saturday Inspiration Challenge. I had fun playing with the big candles, the scallops and the ribbon. Of course my new Cuttlebug dotted swiss folder was fun to play with too.
I put the bashful blue and white cardstock through the dotted swiss folder of the cuttlebug. The edges were dtp'd in navy ink. The candles and flames are on dimensionals. Stickles yellow and blue were used for sparkle on the candles and flames. My new blue SU ribbon was used too. So many scallops navy and bashful blue were used on bashful blue paper.
Today was a very hard day at work. It was Election day here in Ohio so we had tight security in our school building. It set the kids off so much that we staff members wondered if it was worth it to have the school open. I'm sure there were more than one bottle of Excedrin or Tylenol downed today by staff members! LOL
I am preparing for parent meetings to review education plans. There is a lot of paperwork involved in this which takes so much time to write. I keep asking my DH to pray for me and ask God to give me all I need to get through this busy time. I know He's there.
We are currently getting sleet which looks like it's turning to snow. Maybe we'll have a day off from school. One can only hope, after the day we put in today.
Until we meet here again, may God continue to watch over and guide your steps.

This card is wonderful!!! As soon as I get my dotted swiss folder, I am making THIS card. Great job.

I'm praying for you and your work too.
