Bloomin'-I WISH

With Spring just a day or so away, you'd think it would look or feel more like Spring here in Ohio. We're having rain which I guess is spring weather but we've still got so much snow, it's hard to overlook that. I have started to take better care of myself, and one way I'm doing that is to NOT bring home work unless it's absolutely necessary! You know, papers to grade, lesson plans to do, they are like laundry and dishes; always more to do no matter what. Life goes on.
I had fun tonight stamping for the color challenge on SCS which used sage, orchid and kraft. UGH, when I read that combo I almost gave up. I saw the samples and figured if they could do it so could I. (Yeah, right!) Anyway, I have been wanting to use my Bloomin' Beautiful set since I got it and finally pulled it out, popped it out and inked it up. Quick and easy! I used my watercolor crayons and aquapainter with these two cards. I have missed watercoloring lately. I like the paper piecing for the vase. I used berry bliss paper which is one of my favs right now. I like how it came out. Let me know what you think.
May God continue to bless you and hold you in the palm of His hand. As Easter approaches I feel the sadness and heaviness of what Jesus had to do for my sins.......that I don't deserve that kind of love yet He gives it anyway. I feel so thankful that my loving God loved ME enough to die for me so that I'd be in Heaven with Him one day. Doesn't that just take your breath away?
I pray that if you don't know Him as your Lord and Savior, that during this time of Easter, that you search for God and make room for Him in your heart. He is the ONLY thing you need.
Blessings and Hugs.

Such nice cards (I really like the vase with the paper piecing.) Especially nice post too.
