Inspiration Challenges Close To Home

Todays inspiration challenges used things you found in your home. I had a lot of fun with this challenge today. I don't think I've ever done this many cards for a challenge. I guess I have inspiring things in my house! LOL
Anyway this is a waterfall card that I did to go with the wallpaper in my bathroom. This was made for Inspiration Challenge 121 where you were to take inspiration from something in your home. This is my bathroom wallpaper and the waterfall card I made since there's lots of water used here. I used Bloomin' Beautiful and put the rose then the bloomin' saying then a rose again with the bee. This was a fun card to make. It's been a long time since I've made a waterfall card.
The images were colored with blender pens and ink pads. The paper is caribbean and rose garden scrapbook paper from SU. Chocolate chip paper was used for the base of the card. Brads were used on the strip going across. I also used a dimensional on each side under that strip so the cards would slide easily under it.

This is for IC121 where you were to take your inspiration from your home. This is my kitchen wallpaper. I love the greens and purples together so I used Blossoms Abound with amethyst, eggplant, celery and artichoke. I used the spritzer for the image and card base. I used heartfelt thanks for the words on the card. The envelope was stamped as well and hanging that way the lilacs looked like grapes to me.

This is for Inspiration Challenge 121 where you had to make a card using something you had at home. I chose a wreath that is in my bedroom. I made two cards using the same wreath. The wreath was made using the cut out pieces from the other card I made. I used it as a template to stamp inside of. This wreath I stamped with amethyst then eggplant, pretty in pink then pixie. I also used my small rod stamps and added leaves and brilliant blue flowers. I used my cuttlebug for the background on lilac cardstock and a glue dot to attach the ribbon. I love this basic grey paper too. It had just enough pink in it for this card.

This is for Inspiration Challenge 121 where you had to make a card using something you had at home. I chose a wreath that is in my bedroom. I made two cards using the same wreath. I stamped off using pretty in pink and amethyst using the blossoms abound stamp. The I used the same colors using the detail stamps. The wreath was cut out using my circle nestabilities. Basic grey paper was used behind the wreath. The background is a new cuttlebug folder with leaves and birds.

It's been a long day of work related things, friends visiting and fun stamping. I know I've been blessed, truly blessed. I had 4 long reports to work on for work. I told myself once I finished two reports I could stamp. I got two reports done and got some time to stamp and didn't feel at all guilty about doing it. Stamping was my reward for getting my work done. Tomorrow I will do the other two reports and hopefully more stamping. I know I still have more things in this house I can be inspired by.
I'm praying that you're inspired to thank the One who made you and that you are communicating daily with Him. I feel so thankful that I can call Him Father and Savior. He is with me 24-7. No one else can claim that. No one else can possibly know how I feel and what I feel, but He does. I take great comfort in knowing He's been through more than I'll ever be asked to go through. He knows my joys and sorrows, my firsts, my pain. I place it all in His hands. I hope you do too.
Blessings and Hugs.
