My title today sounds like a spoiled two-year old's cry doesn't it?
Have you ever had one of those days where you wanted to do things just for you? Well, guess what? Today was that day for me! Yup, it was our 5th snow day at home and I decided that I was going to stamp all day if I could. So I was busy reading blogs and catching up on some stamping. Here are a few things I made.
This is Sharon Johnson's recipe holder or gift card holder. She had it on her blog so I followed her directions and made this card holder. The picture on the left is the outside, the one on the right is the inside. Sharon's blog can be found here.
While I was putting together the Dahlia flower, I noticed they looked like a cross is I only used 4, so that's what I did. I made them into Easter cards. One is for a guy and the other for a woman. I love those little pearls from the pretties kit.
Have you seen Splitcoast Stampers main page today? Well they have posted a step by step on how to make this cute little Peppermint Patty basket. Cambria has created it and it's just so sa-weet!
Here's my last project using the Embrace Life set. I love to use soft colors when using my blender pen. I used reinkers and my blender pen to color the flowers. I used three different colors; ruby red, guava and coral. I love the black behind the pieces to make it really stand out.
This is a place where I can share my love of family, stamping and the Lord.

You were VERY productive on your "me" day. Seems to me that the work you did actually benefits many others, so it wasn't selfish at all! Great job.
Love the Easter crosses!
