Snow Day #5 in Northern Ohio

We're sitting home in jammies because of the ice storm and snow we got last night. It looks very pretty but is very tough to drive in. When you're in education days like this are just divine! You get time to do what you'd like to do, or time to catch up on things you haven't gotten to.
I'm glad my DH got to work without a problem. He said it was awful and he was glad we were home.

I took this photograph of a sun catcher I have and look at the window around it. It looks like a textured wall or part of the sun catcher. The sleet we had last night is covering the windows in the front of our house. We can't see out.

Here are two cards I made using the splitcoast sketch challenge today. The first card also has the colors for the color challenge this week also, which is saffron, pomegranate and wasabi.
Isn't this a great layout? Thanks Emily...........

I pray that if you are faced with weather challenges today that God will bring you safely through them. He is always there. Bless you until we meet again.

I love how you accented the colors with the black background. Great layouts.

Stay warm.
