Sketch Challenge Roses

This card was for the sketch challenge this week. You had to use an oval. I knew I wanted to use the Kitchen Sink roses in apricot and coral so next I went hunting for paper.......Afternoon Tea was what I found.....I love this paper! One thing led to another and I ended up with cracked glass. Let me know what you think.
I sure needed this today. Finally we have sunshine and warmer temperatures. We've eaten in our screened-in porch the last couple of evenings for dinner. I'm lovin' it!

So this was the color challenge this week on SCS. Wozers this was hard! I don't use much glorious green so it was truly a challenge!
So I'm looking at these colors and thinking I've got to finally put ink to my stars....so this is what I came up with. I punched the stars out of foil. I folded the foil so I had 3-4 layers and punched once and got several stars. Then I ran the stars through the cuttlebug so they have the lines on them. I stamped the large, blue star then punched it out and replaced it with a foil star. I used my wavy edge on my light cutter with the green. Let me know what you think of the foil. Not sure if anyone's done foil in the Cuttlebug before.

This is the card I made after talking with my kids for the layered ribbon challenge. I had been working on a onesie for a baby card and when looking at it they said I could make a dress out of the onsie by cutting off the bottom. The they said if I cut it a bit more, I could make a T-Shirt.
So, I did. This is for a little girl who is fighting a chronic illness. I hope she likes it. My DD loves monkeys so she let me borrow the monkey stamp for this card.

My husband asked how I could continue to make cards and send them to people who are struggling with cancer or other issues. My answer to him was, "How can I NOT?"
Bless you for visiting.

That is so clever...turning the onesie into a t-shirt. Love the monkey face.
