C-H-I-C-A-G-O!

Ben went to Chicago with his class Thursday at 6 a.m. and came home Friday at 10:40 p.m. He said he had a great time touring the city as well as seeing the play, Wicked. Here are some of the sites of the city. He said he liked the architecture, as well as the stories the tour guide told them. He also enjoyed the aquarium. They ate at the ESPN Sportszone or Hard Rock Cafe. They had 6 tour buses filled with 7th graders. Not my idea of a fun 30 hours, how about you?
The principal went and got to sit on the bus with those that needed more attention behavior-wise. Ben said his bus was praised for their behavior on the whole trip.
The whole time he was gone I had a knot in my stomach. I guess that's part of letting go huh? Little by little we let go so that they can be on their own some day. I thank God for helping me to let go a little at a time.
I was so glad to see Ben when he came home. He was soooooooo tired, but told us a few things about the trip before going to bed. Thanks for visiting Chicago with me.
It's cheaper than getting a plane ticket huh?
Bless you for visiting us. I hope your Memorial Day is wonderful.
Blessings,
