Track and Teasures

Ben is enjoying a new sport;track. He is hanging with some new kids and one of them is the very tall boy in the first picture. It looks comical when the two are walking to get ready for the 4x200 relay, but I'm so happy he doesn't see his height as a negative. I keep telling him, he'll grow, and when he does I'll be the short one standing next to him. LOL

Today was a beautiful day to be outside. My DS ran in two events today; the 4x200 and the 200 meter. The second picture he's running the 200 meter and he beat this kid to come in second. He was so thrilled to do that. We're thrilled too!

This is the treasure I talked about in the title. It was sent by Rebecca for the Secret Friend exchange. You nominated people then made things and bought things for them and sent them some goodies and didn't reveal your name until today. You filled out a survey and that was sent to your nominator. I had a lot of fun opening the box and looking at all of the beautiful gifts she got for me. I know I will need to ink up the two Thomas Kinkade stamps soon.

Tomorrow is Val's birthday so I have to go and get some more presents made for her.

Tonight my husband and son are at arena football at the Q downtown. They went with the church group in their vans. What a great way to spend time with your kid. Someone else drives. I can't wait to hear how things went. Neither have been to an event like this before.
