Waiting seems to be the hardest thing to do when you're at a Conference Track Meet. There were 13 teams Saturday as the 7th graders from our conference came together to vie for the #1 spot. My son's team did just that. He is on a 4x100 team and their goal for their event was to place. They did that.
Here's my son getting the hand off of the baton. He ran his heart out and helped his team place in the top 7. His coach seems to know what to do to motivate these boys to do their best. This is the first year of track for my son. I know it won't be his last year because he enjoys this sport. I'm glad to see he is still active in sports since travel baseball is gone.
Just as our events were finished and they announced the winners in order, the skies opened up on us and it poured, was windy and thunder and lightening. We thanked God for allowing us to finish up the meet and for getting us home safely in the nasty weather.
Whatever storm you are facing, let God know about it and allow Him to help you. He knows what's best for you. Lean on Him
Thank you for visiting today and may God bless you whatever your day holds.
Blessings,
