I'm coming up for air!!!

So where have I been all week? Well I've been busy with report cards and busy putting together a dvd for our awards day ceremony at school. It's amazing the amount of time it takes to put something like this together. I spent a lot of the weekend working on it. This week I've been working on report cards online. It's time consuming but easier than writing things out by hand.
I haven't been able to stamp all week and I'm going through withdrawal!!
This is the gift I made for our Special Education Secretary. She does so much for us and I wanted her to know she was appreciated. Each month when I drop off receipts, I bring her something to let her know she's appreciated. This is a water bottle with a scalloped oval punch to go over the neck of the bottle. I stamped the pretty flowers for the background and added the thank you in black and colored it using markers. Pretty in pink ribbon was tied around the neck of the bottle.

This is on the other side of the bottle from the lemonade packet. It is a clear medium sized SU bag in which I stamped a flower on white cardstock and inserted it into the bag. I stamped and cut out a flower and added dimensionals to it to make it stand out. I filled it will Hershey kisses and hugs. She really liked this gift. I thought with summer drawing near it would come in handy.

I just love these Kitchen Sink stamps! I am particular to the roses because my grandma used to have lots and lots of roses. I can't grow them to save my life, but she had a backyard full of them. This stamp set has four colors of pinks and I think it looks so real.
I love the cuttlebug background which makes it look so formal looking. I am looking forward to summer vacation where I'll get to stamp every day if I want to. I can get back to the challenges each day!
I have a list of projects for the summer. Sometimes it's more fun to make the list as I do the jobs so I don't fret over what WASN'T done ya know? LOL

Temps are in the low 90's which is definately NOT FUN when you don't work in air conditioning. Our classroom has windows on one wall, so there is not even a cross breeze. I have one large fan which I've set on top of a large cabinet so it can pull cool air in from the hallway. I've then brought in two of my own fans to keep the air circulating. You sit and drip in this humidity and heat. I am exhausted by the time I come home. At least I'm not on the second floor........there they are about 20 degrees hotter and kids and falling asleep because of the heat. we have 4 days left so hopefully it will cool off.
Bless you for visiting.

What a great bottle! And a clever idea to use that scallop punch for the hole!
